  • India became an associate member of European Organization for Nuclear Research,known as CERN(Conseil Europeen pour la Recherche Nucleaire).The headquarters of CERN is in Geneva(Switzerland).
  • Prime Minister Theresa May said Britain would leave the European Union's(EUs) single market.The market encompasses 28 member countries of the European Union headquartered in Brussels(Belgium).
  • Indian city of Bengaluru(Karnataka) has secured first place in the top 10 most dynamic cities across the world chosen by JLL City Momentum Index(CMI) 2017.Hyderabad(Telangana) is placed fifth in the list.The other top cities are Hanoi(Vietnam),Silicon valley(USA).
