The Staff Selection Commission(SSC) has issued notification for recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking(Non-Technical) Staff in different states and union territories 2016.This exam is popularly known as SSC MTS.
Important Information About SSC MTS EXAM 2016:
Last date to apply:January 30,2017.
Tentative date(s) of exam:April 16th,30th and May 7th 2017.
Tentative vacancies across the country:8,300.
Educational qualification:Matriculation(10th class).
Age limit:18-25 years as on 01.08.2017(relaxtion applicable as per rules).
Mode of exam:Offline(OMR Based).
SSC MTS Exam Pattern:
The written exam will consist of Objective type paper(Paper-1) and Descriptive type paper(Paper-2).
The Objective type paper would consist of 200 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each.There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.The scheme of exam is given below in a
tabular form.
Paper-2 will be of descriptive type and the candidate will be required to write short essay/letter in
English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the constitution.
